How to play Table Tennis

Try Table Tennis at your own pace and keep its objective in view. Reach eleven points with a two-point lead. Use the example below to understand a decision. Treat the first round as a chance to learn the controls. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move.

Notice the feedback

Your goal

Reach eleven points with a two-point lead. The feedback beside the game helps you follow the round. Keep the controls in easy reach.

Step by step

  1. Serve.
  2. Move the lower paddle under the ball.
  3. Hit after the bounce near your baseline.
  4. A missed return gives a point.

Controls

Pointer/paddle buttons; Hit / return; Space serves or hits. Read a button’s label before selecting it. Avoid pressing the same control repeatedly while a move is being processed.

A useful example

An early hit is rejected; wait while positioning the paddle. Focus on why the action is allowed, not only its outcome. Choose a deliberate next step.

Watch out for this

The ball-flight model is timing-based, not full tournament physics. A different version of the game may use a different rule. Read one step at a time and try it on the playing area. Match the instruction to the control you use.
